Cheyenne is looking for a foster home until she has an application approved adopter. She is such an outgoing little girl. She loves attention and playing. She loves kisses. She loves playing with her siblings and toys. She gets a little nervous when she first meets someone new, but once she trusts you, she is very outgoing and loving. She has a lot of the lab and beagle personality traits. She has some cattle dog in her breeding too because her siblings look more like cattle dogs. She is a very special girl and extremely smart which means she may be an escape artist in the future. She is fixed, up to date on her shots and microchipped.

Shiloh is looking for a Foster Home while a permanent adopter is application approved. She is a sweet little girl to people, but she can be a little food aggressive toward other dogs. She is like a little loaf of breed. Short and chunky. She has a German Shepard head with an Australian Cattle Dog color and ticking on a Beagle shaped body and with a Beagle bark. She is the cutest little thing. She loves to be petted. Loves toys. Loves adventure. She has an overbite from that big German Shepard head on that little Beagle body, but it doesn't cause any issues with eating like we said she is food aggressive and loves to eat! She is up to date on her shots, spayed, and microchipped.

Simone is looking for a foster home until she has an application approved adopter. She is a very sweet little girl. She is a little more on the timid side, but she warms up to you pretty quickly. She loves to run and play with her toys. She also loves to play with her siblings. She is going to grow up to be a pretty calm dog and a loyal pet. She is up to date on all her shots, spayed, and microchipped.

He has a fun personality. He loves to play and loves attention. He loves his toys. He will be a good little protector when he gets older. He is a brave little guy. He is up to date on his shots, neutered, and microchipped.

Sierra is looking for a foster home until she has an application approved adopter. She is super friendly and curious. She loves to play with her siblings and toys. She has a little bit of a dachshund look so she could have some of that in her breeding as well. She will be a really sweet dog when she grows up. She is fixed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped.

Sushi was surrendered to the rescue because her owner developed cat allergies. She is a very sweet kitty. She loves attention and gets along well with other cats and dogs.

America is a special rescue. He is a temporary resident because he will be adoptable one day but currently is not adoptable due to his hoof condition. He came to us through a veterinarian who rescued him from an owner. He had no name when he came to us and had the worst case of founder we have ever seen. We named him America like the song by America called Horse with no name. He is still in hoof Rehabilitation and Training. He is available for adoption.

Eliza (doe), Surly Joe- (wither), Janie (doe), Buster Scruggs (buck), and Gambler (wither) are the goat herd who will live out their lives at the Orr Farm Sanctuary as Ag. educational assets. They will continue to teach visitors and volunteers about agriculture. Buster Scruggs will grow up to reproduce and have kids with Janie, Eliza, and any other rescued does and will forever be friends with Surly Joe and Gambler is half-brothers. They are all rescue goats and will be used to educate visitors and volunteers about milk goat and meat goat production. Some of their kids may be adoptable pets in the future.

Redron the bull calf, Olive the heifer calf, and Wookie the steer calf are rescued bottle-fed calves that will live out their life on the Orr Farm Sanctuary as Ag. educational assets. They will continue to teach visitors and volunteers about agriculture. Redron will grow up to reproduce and have calves with Olive and possibly more rescued cows that will teach visitors and volunteers about milk and meat Ag. production. Redron, Olive, and other cows that are rescued will live out their lives receiving the best care at the Orr Farm Sanctuary. Some of their calves may be adoptable pets in the future.

Aisha is the directors first horse's last-born filly. She is part of the Orr Family. She will live her life out at the sanctuary. She is very special to our director and will always be remembered as the princess of the horse herd.

Bluebell was a sponsor's horse who our director trained and since has adopted from the sponsor. She is a great asset to the farm because she is a beginner friendly horse that provides lessons and trail rides to members and sponsors. She will live her life out at the sanctuary and is loved deeply by the directors, volunteers, members, sponsors, and visitors at Orr Farm Rescue & Sanctuary.

Chief is a rescue Appendix horse that a friend rescued and gave to us to continue his training because he was "too much horse" for her. He has become a favorite of everyone at the rescue and also a permanent member of the family. He will live his life out at the sanctuary along with his Indian princess Aisha. He is a lot of horse full of a lot of love and mischievous behavior. We call him mischievous Chief.

Maple is one of our volunteer's horses. She is welcomed on the farm because she is a great trail riding horse that can be ridden by experienced riders. She is great asset to the farm because she can also provide lessons and trail rides to already experienced riders. She is extremely sweet and well mannered. She will stay at the Orr Farm Rescue & Sanctuary as long as our volunteer is here.

Daisy is a dalmatian puppy that came from a breeder. She is 100% deaf and could not stay adopted for very long without coming back to the breeder. She is a very special girl. She is very attached to our director and goes everywhere with her. She calls Daisy her sidekick because she is just that. She goes horseback riding with her, works cows with her, takes her to coffee shops, and to tractor supply and other feed stores to buy feed and needs for all of the rescues and residents at the Orr Farm.

Possum is Daisy Jone’s best friend. He is her hearing companion, and she follows him everywhere he goes. Possum was rescued from the middle of the highway covered in mange and with a severe injury to his hind leg. We had to go through surgery to save his bladder which had the most severe staph infection our vet said they had ever seen. For the longest time we thought Possum would not recover from his injury and surgery and was always going to be incontinent. But then miraculously one day he just started peeing like a healthy dog and he’s been doing great ever since. Daisy and him both have previously injured hind legs, but they are opposite hind legs. They run the trails together and will forever be together here at the sanctuary as the directors’ personal dogs.

Rocco is a sweet, mature dog. He was found abandoned and very emaciated. We caught him in a trap and it took months for us to get him to trust us. He is still very shy but has warmed up to us and other people enough to be petted. He knows sit and is housetrained. He usually sleeps in a crate or somewhere away from commotion. He likes it quiet. He would not be a good dog to have around children or a lot of change. He needs a regular routine. He does walk on a leash well and loves to go for walks. He does come on horseback rides with us too. His weight has to be watched and calories added when needed. He has gotten where we can brush him now with patience. He is a very introverted boy but a very, very good dog. He is a sanctuary dog because he is an older dog and doesn't do well with new people and loves his life at the sanctuary.

Gee Gee is a little handful. She was rescued as an abandoned puppy. She loves to bark and is the doggy police as we call her. She is the boss lady of the sanctuary dog pack. She is unadoptable because she only likes the directors at Orr Farm. She loves to be indoors and loves to hunt for mice and other small animals. She is a great farm dog. She is unadoptable because of her aggressive behavior and her little bad attitude. Even though she thinks she just has a personality you and all the other dogs can't handle.

Zoey is our Mama Dog. She was rescued from a puppy mill situation. She has since been spayed and is now in charge of any puppies or baby farm animals that come to the rescue. She loves to mother anything. She is the sweetest dog we have. Everyone loves Zoey! She will live out her life on the sanctuary and she deserves to live here. Our sweet Zoey girl. She is unadoptable because we need her help at the rescue, and she is our director's personal dog.

Bob is a very sweet, smart boy that was adopted by one of our directors from another rescue she managed a few years back. He is a little run away and escape artist. He loves to go for walks on the trails with us and for horseback rides too. He is the sweetest boy. He is a little more introverted and likes to keep to himself. He loves laying in a chair or on the bed. He is a great dog. He is unadoptable because he is our director's personal dog.

Grim is a very active and curious boy. He loves to attack things that move. He is a very protective dog and is a little shy. He will fetch anything you throw and especially loves sticks, balls, toys, and bottles. He can jump so very high and loves to swim. He loves to herd and is an amazing work dog. He is unadoptable due to his aggressive and shy behavior.

Snowman is the Orr Farm's Permanent Protector and Guardian. He was given over to the rescue in 2022. He was one year old and wasn't wanted at another farm because of his aggression toward chickens. Since then we have trained him to look after the goats and the calves. He is the boss man of all the other dogs and is an overall great and happy dog. He the director's personal dog.

Clout was another dog that wasn't wanted on another farm. He was killing chickens. We took him in and have worked with training him to be kind to the farm animals. He is leader of the pack even over Snowman. He is a senior dog and will live out his life at the sanctuary. He is the director's personal dog.

Nanna is extremely shy and introverted. She came from a home where the owner believed the previous owner before her abused her. She is a handful. She does not like to have a leash on. She stays hidden behind chairs or under desks most of the time. She is a great alarm system for the farm though because she loves to bark at anything that moves. She is super sweet and will sit for a cookie. She will approach us for loving every once in a while. She is the director's personal dog.

The rescue chickens and ducks who will live out their lives at the Orr Farm Sanctuary as Ag. educational assets. They will continue to teach visitors and volunteers about poultry farming. They create little butt nuggets aka eggs that we sell to help fund the rescue.
